Awesome zip line
I spent my birthday enjoying the clear skies and open woods in the Ruidoso, New Mexico area. The hotel at which we stayed had a WONDERFUL sculpture in the lobby and I had to find the sculptor. It was hard. None of the people with whom I spoke knew anything about who it might have been. So, I wandered through the small, picturesque community, and among the many stores I visited, was one particular gallery of bronze figures which caught my eye. I figured one sculptor's representative might know whomever had done the piece i liked from the Hotel.... and she did! Thanks to Gloria! She referred me to Jordan T., gave me the phone number, and within 2 minutes, I was on my way to meet Jordan T. himself, a self-taught Apache who imbued his work with power, sensitivity, balance and warmth. My wife and I received royal treatment, and we saw how he produced these wonderful pieces, starting with the blank stone, the rough cutting, the fine sculpting and the final polishing. AMAZING! Jordan could not stop giving of himself, and we feel that he is a "friend" in the truest sense of the word. He loves his work, he loves his audience, and this fan loves him. If you are able to visit his gallery, or see any of his work which is displayed in various venues throughout the US, please do so... and feel the strength exhibited by this gentle, wonderful artist!
