Great accommodations. Room was well maintained and had plenty of outlets for all your electronics. Bathroom was spacious. Also spent some time in some of their meeting rooms and they were awesome. Staff was excellent.
Freezing cold rooms and hallways. Lots of fun activities. Very pretty views and restaurants. Professional and nice staff. Affordable casino games. Shower water took a while to warm. Clean rooms had an odd smell. Lake is very pretty and huge. Wendell's restaurant had yummy lemonade, was very luxurious and pretty but food was very expensive and didn't not taste good at all.
I love this place! I love the suites they are large with two balcony's two bathrooms jacuzzi tub,a bar and two living areas our room had four televisions one of them was on the wall in the bathroom. House keeping staff were all very considerate of the needs of guests.The art is beautiful! The casino is really lots of fun! As long as you know it's entertainment,and the money you have for gambling is usually a loss before you get to the resort, than you are fine, no expectations of a big win,whatever that is it is different for everyone. I would love to have a big win,but I never have,and I don't go to gamble,and only want to win I want to have fun win or loose,I usually 9 times out of 10 ,I loose. On the negatative side of things, I know the room we had could have and should have been a lot cleaner than it was,there were finger prints on the picture frames, the frames and furniture, and silk flowers were all so dusty.The mirrors we're not clean in the bathrooms.Next time I go there I will look at the room I'm offered before I take it,I want it to be clean.For the most part a great place to stay,.Good food all different kinds..Great people work at Inn of the mountain God's, very helpful staff.It must be a good place we see the same valet guys every time we go and have gone for the past eight or ten years.So if people keep their jobs,they must like to work there.
Disappointed disappointed VERY disappointed!!! We had a high expectation after reading all the reviews and posted pictures. Maybe our expectation was too high? Small casino area with a majority of machines were old and outdated, machines were not paying and worst was the Gathering of Nation Buffet, found a hair, tasteless, very limited options, over priced for Friday seafood buffet (it was missing "Seafood" part). Staff not so friendly... But I moved to NM and getting used to it... However, the scenery and atmosphere was great! My first and last visit here.
The setting is beautiful and what makes the place. We were there in the off season, no skiing and only there one night. There was a bad smell that I noticed in several areas. Not sure what it was. Casino is pretty good and the people are very nice. Buffet was adequate. I'd give the setting and location five stars.
